I was the NARRATOR on this humanitarian piece inspired by the ethereal poem by Georgia Heard, "STAR STUFF", Director Lez Rudge. It was produced in the midst of the US Covid-19 quarantine. It evolved into a tribute to the healthcare and essential workers, those who have sadly succumbed to the virus and the worldwide fight for racial equality and societal reformation in the wake of yet another series of police murders of Black citizens, specifically George Floyd.
I booked a co-star role in an episode of the new Netflix / Shonda Rhimes series, INVENTING ANNA, based on a scathing exposé featured in New York magazine by Jessica Pressler. The series tells the ludicrously scandalous tale of Anna Delvey, a grifter, Instagram "heiress" who duped and swindled the upper echelon of the NYC social scene. I shot a fun scene with Julia Garner (starring in the title role), directed by the gifted and generous, Nzingha Stewart. Goddess Power!
I've been cast in two staged readings of plays this month. The first is an original, futuristic, dark comedy play, "43 Stages of Grieving" by Micharne Cloughley. I play ANNE, a jaded, 333 "human human" who's consumed with the pitfalls of eternal life, plotting her own death and gorging on gourmet cheeses! FREE Wed, 2/26, 8pm at JAW|Judson Memorial Church, NYC.
The second, is a benefit reading of the Tony nominated sexual farce, "In The Next Room (or the Vibrator Play)" by Sarah Ruhl, produced by River's Edge Theatre Co. I play the multi-layered, ELIZABETH, who's triumphantly navigating life, marriage and motherhood, during the Victorian era at the dawn of electricity-- and vibrators! 😳 Sat, 2/29 at 7:30 pm at Irvington Theater, Irvington, NY. Click: TIX INFO. $20 General admission, $10 Students, All proceeds go to Equality Now.
I was cast as "Officer Hawkes" in an episode of the new HBO comedy series "LOVE LIFE". Actress, Hope Davis and I had a blast shooting an unscripted scene. Thanks to writer, Megan Mercier for crafting a nutty scenario that allowed us to really play and discover. It was a funny scene, made funnier by our talented, free flowing director, Anu Valia. Ah, the magic and mania of improv-- I 💓 it. Not to mention, I was approached by numerous people asking for directions!
It was refreshing to see such diversity within the crew and so many women in powerful production positions. It's moving towards this being the norm, not an anomaly. And it feels really great. ⚡
After speaking on a panel at the GIRL POWER FILM + MEDIA SUMMIT in March (hosted by Imagine This Productions), Cinema Femme Magazine asked me to be one of their featured artists in a spotlight piece about the birth of my consulting / repping business, Agent 99, born out of my passion for mentorship and advocacy for artists. ⚡

I'm covering two major roles and am so proud to be a part of such a talented cast, in this ground breaking, uniquely crafted work by playwright, Jackie Sibblies Drury. It's a must-see, don't miss it! 🔥
